I use deposits to confirm many bookings and I accept etransfers for payment. Here is guide for how to set up and use etransfers! You will need to have access to online banking to do this. This is not a guide for how to set up online banking, come back to this if you need to do that. This is also what my bank's website looks like - yours might look a little different, but similar steps should apply. Step 1: Go to Interac etransfers There should be an option for Interac etransfers, which might be under a heading called Transfers. Find this area. Step 2: Add me to your recipient contacts Put in my email address (use my contact page to get in touch with me if you don't have it) and set it up to send to my email. I included my bank's details about etransfers here so you can see something important: it can take up to 30 minutes for an etransfer to send! This is why I prefer advance payment or cash - with my mind at ease, I can better focus on our time together! Another important thing is that, at least for my bank, there is no fee to send an etransfer. Step 3: Set up the etransfer Select me, enter the amount to send, pick which account to send from, and include a message if you like! Do not include the password in the message! (next step) Do not reference sexual services, or meeting up, or that this is a payment for something! You can write something nice like, "Thanks!" or "Enjoy!" depending on what you're sending for. Step 4: Set up a security question
I suggest you use the option to create your own password question, then email or text me what it is. Enter it twice, then press continue. Confirm the transfer and send! I'll accept the etransfer and you may see a receipt from your bank confirming that I've received it. The money will be transferred to my bank account. That's it! :) |
